Group Affinity Bench
2011
Group Affinity is an exhibition held in Kunstverein München in 2011. In the form of a two-week summer school and a four-week exhibition, Group Affinity offered a diverse curriculum of five participatory faculties run by international collectives in the field of art and design.
For Group Affinity, Manuel Raeder especially developed a mobile architectural structure for the space and its furniture, based on a long time research into communal architecture of Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi. The benches are constructed from a left over wood for exhibition display.
